I started my journey in fitness after years of being unsatisfied with the direction my life was going, both personally and physically. This is something that many people in the fitness industry can relate to and proves that it is never too late to make positive changes in your life! At age 14, I underwent a life altering surgery to have two Herrington Rods in my back and being fused at the top and bottom of my spine after being diagnosed with severe Scoliosis. I was told that had I not gone through with this surgery that I would most likely end up in a wheelchair by age 21.
